Gastrointestinal distress is all the rage in Milan, darling.

Hi all. My local time is 4:40 am, I have significant pain in my intestines, and I have a body temperature of 100.2. Obviously, I'm not feeling at my most chipper.

I've decided that the Shortbread lists will have to start coming out next Monday, and proceed until the end of the week. That will give me a chance to get over this piffling inconvenience and do some serious writing without stress. Oh, and there's some family obligation over the weekend if I remember correctly.

I'm going to go lie down and accuse my cat of poisoning me.

Get better soon.

Had something similar not too long ago. It sucks.

Slacker.

Seriously, this massive one-man awards show you've assigned yourself seem a somewhat over-ambitious task even in the best of health. Pushing it to next week and doling them out is probably a wise choice regardless.

But I do look forward to seeing the results.

You know this already, but if it's near your right side, anywhere remotely near your right side, it could be your appendix. So go get checked by a doc. --- Recently, Nate Piekos of Blambot.com had the same thing, and it turned out to be his appendix.

Take care dude!

I wouldn't rule out the cat from poisoning you. Cats are notorious for doing that. I know my cat is trying to break my legs. why else would he run and plop down on the floor in front of me EVERY morning? Either that, or he has a death wish and he is trying to have me squish him. Hmm, maybe he isn't evil, he's just suicidal.

Hope you get well soon. I look forward to seeing your list. Ambitious as it is, I'm sure you will do a great job! I applaud your ambitious scale. Writers SHOULD challenge themselves. Nothing feels quite as good as being up to the challenges you present yourself. Well, getting paid would probably feel better, but you know what I mean.

Get better.

Best wishes on a speedy recovery.
